First Aid Forestry Unit +F
Duration: 2 Hours
The “+F” Forestry Unit is an additional unit for both First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work, and is required by foresters, and also by many whose work or activities take them onto forest lands, or lands owned by the Forestry Commission, e.g. gamekeepers, stalkers, shooters, etc.
Topics included are:
- Catastrophic bleeding
- Tourniquets and haemorrhagic dressings
- Crush injuries
- Effects of extremes of temperature
- Lyme disease
