Manual Handling (objects)

This is a basic course of instruction, lasting three hours, for those involved in the moving and handling of objects (as opposed to clients/patients). It deals with the causes and types of manual handling related injuries, as well as how to avoid them. By the use of these basic techniques, injuries and sickness can be reduced, and useful active life can be extended.
